The installation approach is the same as residential work, CertainTeed Complete Roofing System for asphalt, with all components installed to specification but the project management, communication, and documentation are scaled to the commercial context.

Property managers, facilities directors, and building owners receive a complete documentation package from every Lakeland commercial shingle project suitable for capital planning records, insurance files, and warranty claims.
For commercial asphalt installations, the CertainTeed 50-year Labor & Material Warranty is available on commercial projects installed by a certified applicator and the same warranty available on residential work. Ask about commercial warranty eligibility during the estimate.
50-Year Warranty: Why Certification Matters
50-Year CertainTeed Labor & Material Warranty
The CertainTeed 50-year Labor & Material Warranty covers the full roofing system, not just the shingles. It’s available only through contractors who hold the Certified Select Master Shingle Applicator designation and who install the complete system as specified.
Lakeland holds that certification. Most contractors do not, which means most contractors cannot offer this warranty regardless of what shingles they install.
10-Year Lakeland Workmanship Warranty
In addition to the CertainTeed warranty, every Lakeland shingle installation comes with a 10-year Lakeland Workmanship Warranty which is a separate, written guarantee on our labor. If there’s an installation issue in the first 10 years, we come back. No questions.
